As part of my studies, I had the pleasure of making two short films for the RTS (the Swiss television) program Coeur à Coeur. This appeal for donations focuses on the issue of child abuse and the exploitation of child labor. The idea is to start from a very commonplace ecological observation: if we cover our planet with waste and use up its resources beyond its capacity, our own future is at stake. When we treat the environment with contempt, without being aware of its importance, we put ourselves in danger. Children have a right to a future; they are, quite literally, our future. By depriving them of this, we are not only putting them in danger, but ourselves as well.
