About
Driven by a deep passion for storytelling and visual expression, my path in the film industry—shaped by hands-on experiences on intimate film sets—has only strengthened my desire to craft meaningful, emotionally resonant narratives.
I aim to shed light on social issues and give a voice to perspectives that are too often unheard. Through writing and directing documentaries, I seek to reveal the poetry, the beauty, and the surreal absurdity hidden within everyday reality—those fleeting truths we rarely stop to see.
Life
I was born in Hamburg, Germany—“the most beautiful city in the world,” as its residents like to say. My childhood was marked by numerous trips back and forth between France and Germany, before I settled in Switzerland at the age of 17. This multicultural influence has not only made it easier for me to learn new languages, but has also given me a curiosity for the unknown and an enthusiasm for discovery.
After graduating from high school in France, specializing in philosophy and English literature, I chose to set off once again for new horizons in Switzerland. There, I discovered the world of cinema: I found myself on small sets decorating for short films, interning on music videos, and working as a sound recordist on documentaries. Fascinated by the spotlight and torn between all the professions that appealed to me, I enrolled in a program at ERACOM in Audiovisual Design, specializing in Film and Audiovisual Media.
Two years of experimentation and research later, I returned to what has always driven me: storytelling. Today, I devote myself to writing and directing documentaries, where I can combine my sensitivity, curiosity, and view of the world.
Work
It is 2025 and I am 20 years old, that means my growing up was very moved by a lot of social movements. First, there was me too and then short after that I found myself demonstrating for the first time on the streets for the Fridays for Future movement lead by Greta Thunberg in Leipzig, Germany. The feeling was exhilarating, to be collectively mobilised for something we believe in, to be able to let the world know, to scream on the top of our lungs “it is over”
I have always felt a certain injustice, perhaps due to the different perspectives I gained from moving around as I was growing up. I have always felt a certain internal anger without knowing where it comes from or who it is directed at. As I explored topics such as climate and social justice and gender equality, I felt concerned, as everyone should be.
When I discovered cinema shortly after my first protest, I was fascinated by how much you can convey with a combination of images and sound, and I became passionate about it. The library on my way home from school became a ritual, a refuge. Browsing through it and discovering new stories became my new way of hearing the collective scream of letting the world know.
Today, I want to convey my world and my vision in projects, to make people feel other narratives. Watching the documentary “Storytelling for Earthly Survival” with Donna Haraway and directed by Fabrizio Terranova, I am firmly convinced that this is a crucial point for all kinds of social life.
